#14 on our 2018, “Who’s On Deck” list is the multi talented artist & creative mind, TruthCity. TruthCity, originally hailing from Virginia, relocated his life to New York City to make a full force effort in pursuing a career in music. TruthCity really knows what it is like to start from the bottom and become successful. At one point in his life, he was homeless but through handwork and dedication he was able to better his life with the music.

Not only is TruthCity a phenomenal rapper, songwriter & performer, he's also the founder of a community-based organization, "The Artist Kickback”. This event strives to help educate creatives of all levels & walks of life to come together & make their art at an affordable, high quality.

In early 2017, TruthCity partnered with Sony RED and has not looked back since. Truth had been making many moves prior to that partnership, however. Between stellar song releases on tracks like “The Family”, “Changes” & “Consistency”, TruthCity had always proved he was really for the culture. Most recently, TruthCity has impressively passed 500k total streams online, only further proving that his music has been impacting people in the right way.
